We are looking for a dynamic and creative professional to implement meaningful and consistent year-round programming designed to engage & connect all members of the community.

POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Executive Director, you will be responsible for the planning, scheduling, publicizing and execution of a wide range and variety of activities for the Jewish Community. This includes existing programs such as PJ Library, Community Breakfast, Holocaust Remembrance and the Jewish Film Festival. Hours are 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Due to the nature of the role the position includes occasional evenings and Sunday hours.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

1. Expand existing programs designed to engage the Lee & Charlotte County Jewish community.
2. Develop new, meaningful and consistent year-round programs designed to connect all members of the community
3. Identify, cultivate and establish new program sponsors.
4. Manage volunteers.
5. Coordinate and strengthen relationships with other Jewish professionals and organizations in our community.
6. Create a comfortable, inclusive and welcoming environment.
7. Evaluate and adjust programs accordingly.
8. Create marketing materials and monthly articles for print and social media.
9. Foster an inclusive culture that infuses Jewish values and principles organization wide.
10. Identify opportunities of engagement for children and teens, and their families

QUALIFICATIONS:
• College diploma preferred
• 5+ years demonstrated outstanding experience in program planning, development and implementation.
• Superior communication and English language skills –oral and written.
• Fundraising experience preferred.
• Experience in non-profit sector an asset.
• Strong knowledge of Jewish culture, traditions, Israel, and community a must.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and multi-task.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite applications, including Outlook, Excel, Publisher, Word, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of social networking tools (especially Facebook, Twitter & Instagram) is required.
• Ability to create & publicize promotional materials.
• Passionate, self-motivated, organized, creative and imaginative.
